Who is Cosmo the dodo? The dodo is an extinct species of bird which last walked the Earth during the 1700s. This ancient feathered creature is said to have lived exclusively on Mauritius Island off the east coast of Madagascar, Africa. While the famous dodo bird may be long gone, a marvellous legend has been born. Despite what scientists believe, a single dodo specimen still remains - the captivating Cosmo, the dodo from space! Along with his faithful companion spaceship, 3R-V, Cosmo cruises the cosmos traveling from planet to planet in search of another dodo. In the process, the inseparable duo's adventures see them encounter a colourful array of amusing characters grappling with various biodiversity and environmental challenges - challenges ultimately designed to enhance children's awareness of key environmental concepts such as ecological balance and sustainable development. ------------------ 3R-V 3R-V is a friendly and amiable robot vessel designed by a scientist on Earth who had a great regard for nature and the environment. As such, he created this robot in respect for the principles of reusing, reducing and recycling. Of course, he equipped 3R-V with a propulsion system that uses only non-polluting and renewable energies. The reason the planet is so pockmarked is that Tornu, the digger, has been busy burrowing everywhere in desperate search of a hidden jewel.
